Copy the IMEI exactly as shown if your workflow allows copying. If you need to record it manually, double-check every digit before saving it in a form or ticket.
For support screenshots, training material, or QA demos, use sample IMEIs instead of exposing a real device identifier.
Other places you may find the IMEI
The IMEI may also appear on the device box, purchase records, MDM inventory systems, or support-side hardware records depending on the environment.
Use those sources when the device is not in hand but a verified internal record exists.
