Generation method

The generator builds a 14-digit base sequence using model-associated prefixes and computes the final digit with the Luhn algorithm to produce a valid-format 15-digit sample value.

This format-oriented approach is designed for testing, mock data generation, screenshots, and UI validation workflows.

Scope and limitations

A valid format does not imply that a generated IMEI belongs to a real device, is registered on a network, or is associated with ownership records.

Generated values should be treated as synthetic samples and not as live hardware identifiers.
